Prof. Paul Zang Zang

Biography

Professor of Sociolinguistics at the Department of French, University of Youndé I, Cameroon. Former Deputy Director at the Institute of Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences, Pan African University (PAUGHSS, African Union). As a fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, he is a member of the Humboldt Association Cameroon (HAC). He is the main architect behind the theory of linguistic regulations and a new tendency known as regulationist sociolinguistics.
