Biography
Professor of English language and linguistics at the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon. He has published numerous books and scientific articles, besides being a Humboldt Foundation fellow, a Fulbrighter and a DAAD fellow. His research interests include World Englishes, sociolinguistics and transformative development. He is the current and pioneer editor for the book series Transformative Development for Postcolonial Africa (Bloomsbury Publishing, London) and is also the pioneer and current general coordinator of Transformative Research and Networking Group (TRANG).
