Project Description

This project focuses on how theories, models, taxonomies, and paradigms with universal scope or those developed for other contexts can be adopted and adapted to the contextual realities of Africa. It explores the process of Africanization of knowledge systems and their application to African development challenges. Contributors will examine how Western theories can be contextualized, how African epistemologies can inform theoretical frameworks, and how indigenous knowledge can be integrated with universal paradigms. The project addresses the question: How can universal knowledge be transformed to create a transformative impact on Africa?
